How to Pack Fragile China or Glass Plates Correctly

Most people do not enjoy packing, particularly if they have lots of household belongings. Packing up entire household can be very daunting and challenging tasks for you. Take a peace of bubble wrap or blank newsprint paper and spread it on the ground. Wrap each china / glass plate and then make bundle of three or four tighter. Place plates at their edge in the box. Never lay them flat. There is high risk of damages if you place them flat in the box. Take another bundle of plates and place near the other bundle. Fill sides with lightly crushed papers or peanuts. Place bundle of larger plate first and smaller ones later. Make sure you put bubble wraps between layers of bundles. In fact, you should place wadded old newspapers or peanuts between every layer that will provide proper cushioning to each layer; and will protect them.

Close and secure the box with heavy duty packaging tape. Mark / label the box clearly with appropriate tag and its description. The suitable tag would be FRAGILE – China / Glass – Handle with Care.
